About us
Settled in the heart of the mythic Rue de Rome in Paris for more than 25 years, the society BAROCO specialised in the string quartet is headed by Pierre BARTHEL, violin maker and expert.
The workshop quickly acquired an international reputation reinforced by the arrival of two new partners: Christophe LANDON, violin maker and expert in New York, and Andreas POST, violin maker and expert in Amsterdam.
The team
No one today is unaware of the specialty of Pierre BARTHEL in the field of sound tuning. He is consulted by the greatest French and international soloists and is in charge of the balance of many instruments of exceptional quality.
Restoration is also an important component of Pierre BARTHEL 's workshop, who is assisted in this task by Sandrine OSMAN and Mathias PIETRI .
